GSP Rescue has been rescuing, re-homing & rehabilitating German Shorthaired Pointers since 1987.  During our 30 years in operation we have given thousands of GSP’s a second chance and we are extremely proud of our successful track record in matching people with GSP’s for a lifetime of love & happiness.

 Our aim is to help and advise on the German Shorthaired Pointer breed, re-home and if necessary rescue GSP’s within mainland Britain.

Please contact us if you need help with your GSP, our advice is free even if you are considering the need to give up your GSP. Alternatively you may be wishing to help us and be thinking of adopting a rescue dog.

Sadly we do get a high volume of dogs in from a variety of back grounds. Fortunately the breeds versatility makes them suitable for a wide variety of homes.

Our re-homing process is carefully tailored to each applicant, so please allow plenty of time. As we are a voluntary organisation with limited resources, please bear with us.

We take in and re-home GSP’s from all over the UK mainland, because of this you will potentially need to travel to meet and collect your adopted GSP.

We regularly incur costly vets bills and kennelling accommodation to pay for, as well as having the cost of transporting dogs.
